(And a perfect reminder of how beautiful fellowship can be.)
Together, we mulled over Paula Rhinehart’s sentiment: Everything that is really real about God has come to me in the gap between what I hoped or expected and the different kind of wonderful God had in mind.
I found myself resonating deeply with the real-life parables & paradoxes we discussed. Over & above it all, God’s absolute sovereignty and nearness became the resounding Amen.
Besides, we ate caramel apples & laughed really hard. So yeah; it was the all-out getaway.
