I vividly remember the first time I stepped foot into (what has now become) my third-place.  Sitting around an ecclectic mix of coffee drinks & company, the context itself seemed — somehow — to make the conversation better.  (It was one of those “after the concert we sat & talked for hours” kind of deals.)

Since then, I’ve had more of my best conversations (and most earnest thoughts) whilst sitting in Westport’s Broadway Cafe.  (Also, some annoying run-ins with bathroom graffiti; but that’s another story.)

Earlier today my friend, Moe, sent me this link to KC’s most recent Ode to the Broadway-Cafe.  Not surprising (but encouraging all-the-same): our beloved Broadway’s still holding her own.
